The Hippy
I dreamt of things I had never before seen that night. New memories from the life I had jumped into influenced what I saw in my mind. I woke up not knowing what to expect but being prepared for the worse. As far as I was concerned none of it mattered. I now knew how to jump when I needed to and understood that I would have to find a way to battle the darkness before I could find a life to stay in permanently. The darkness had lost me on this jump but the deep instinctual part of my mind knew that it would never stop searching and that even with the infinite lives I could have jumped into the darkness was not limited by time or space and would catch up to me eventually.
What I needed was internet access to begin my research. I logically assumed that anyone with the knowledge I was looking for would be labeled a crackpot, conspiracy theorist, or cult leader but I was determined to sort through everything I could find on out of body experiences until I found someone with true knowledge of the subject. With the firsthand knowledge I possessed I figured that it would be easy for me to separate the fakes from those who had actual experience.
When I awoke I opened my eyes and found myself not in a room made of wood or brick and mortar but a small cone shaped piece of fabric. Light streamed into the room from a thin three foot gash in the wall that my feet were pointing towards. I allowed my eyes to adjust to the room and after a few moments of mental deliberation came to the realization that I was in a teepee. The endless possibilities swarmed through my mind causing me to become dizzy and disoriented and just as I was about to close my eyes and fall back asleep the small opening widened and I saw what looked to my confused mind to be an angel, appear surrounded by the light.
The angel woman was breathtaking. She had long flowing blonde hair which seemed to shimmer in the surrounding light. Her body was nude and beautifully tanned from the waist up with what looked like a deer hide dress on to cover her lower half all the way down to her bare feet. She crouched coming into the opening smiling at me and in that smile I felt the opposite of the darkness. I started to wonder if I had mistakenly entered one of the crisscrossed sections of web that had no life dot and instead of waking up in a buried corpse had somehow ended up in a version of me that had entered heaven.
âHoney, are you going to lie there all day or come help Moon and I with the garden?â the Angel asked.
At this point I disregarded the notion that I was in some sort of afterlife. Her voice did sound soothing but as I woke up further more memories surfaced and I knew that this was indeed a physical life.
